My friend suggested putting a screw through the bottom and putting a bolt on top to hold it in place. One reason I haven't used it yet is because I haven't quite figured out how to attach it.
Shannonhttp://willbikeforchange.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7481265.post-12275878013889447742012-09-17T09:08:25.040-04:002012-09-17T09:08:25.040-04:00That bike crate is gorgeous! I can't see how it attaches.

I have an Avenir shopping bag (which REI no longer carries, unfortunately) attached to my hybrid, but the Public's rack bars are too wide to attach that bag.Melanie Suzannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02540747770586922326noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7481265.post-58374653695339271982012-09-17T09:03:57.309-04:002012-09-17T09:03:57.309-04:00I think it'll be a while before I get up to ha...I think it'll be a while before I get up to hauling a real tree. Cats + real tree = disaster waiting to happen especially since Margie loves to climb and Oreo loves to chew just about anything he can get his mouth around.

The new saddle has DEFINITELY improved Bea's ride quality and I enjoy riding her much more now. (Plus, I really need to clean Lily before I ride her again. Gotta do that this week since the Backroads ride is next Sunday. I just bought a bike crate from my friend's dad's company (http://www.etsy.com/listing/97115911/bicycle-crate-or-basket-reclaimed-sapele) for farmers' market runs, but I haven't had the chance to try it out yet.Shannonhttp://willbikeforchange.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7481265.post-84625994930299992812012-09-16T23:03:00.947-04:002012-09-16T23:03:00.947-04:00I SOOOOOO wanted to get a Christmas tree last yea...I SOOOOOO wanted to get a Christmas tree last year by bicycle. Trying to figure out the logistics of it all gave me a headache though, so ultimately I gave up. I may give it a try this year though... just because. :O)

Glad you're getting such great use out of Beatrix. I'm sure she enjoys it, too!G.E.https://www.blogger.com/profile/02748009691282638366noreply@blogger.com
