DC Area Bike Shops

Spokes, Etc: My local bike shop with five locations in Northern Virginia. Carries Specialized, Trek, Surly, and Salsa bikes. Knowledgeable sales staff and great mechanics.

BicycleSPACE: Located in Mount Vernon Square and a few blocks away from DC's Chinatown, this shop carries what I consider more "boutique" brands of bikes including Linus, Brompton, Pashley and accessories from Basil and Brooks. They also sponsor theme rides and yoga nights. DC bike bloggers rave about this shop.
