There is a medium-sized Civia Twin City Step-Through on the floor at a bike shop in Richmond, VA and I don't have a spare five hours to get down there and back before June 2nd. Please oh please oh please don't get sold before I get a chance to test you.
Please.
That's a classy looking bike....I'll keep my fingers crossed that it doesn't get sold..!!

Thanks, Trevor! :)
DeleteIs it whispering to you......buy me. Go on you know you want me.......
ReplyDeleteI KNOW. But I have to test ride it first. No purchasing bikes sight unseen. :)
DeleteHave you not already got lots of bikes?
ReplyDeleteYes, I have three. If I get a new commuter/town bike, I will sell the hybrid. I'm trying not to be a super collector.
DeleteFingers crossed!
ReplyDeleteJez must not know that a woman can never have too many bikes. :)
We need one for every mood! :)
DeleteYou have a worldwide blogging audience waiting anxiously to hear the results of your test ride! Let the shop know that, perhaps they would be willing the schedule a test ride on June 2.
ReplyDeleteHa ha! I like the way you think.
DeleteMel... walk away from the bike. Walk away!!! Love, Mom
ReplyDeleteNooooo.... *grabby hands*
DeleteHey Mel,
ReplyDeleteI follow your blog and thought I should chime in on the Twin City's. (It's biased as I work for the parent company) they are wonderful.
if your shop sells that one we should have more they can special order!! are you wanting the single speed or geared??
Hey there! The impression the shop gave me was that Civia might run out since the 2013s will be rolling in before too much longer. I think he was trying to pressure me into purchasing the bike in a panic. I'm not particularly thrilled with that tactic, but seeing as how it's the most local shop that carries Civias, I'll suck it up and deal with the questionable attitude.
DeleteI'm happy to see another opinion on the wonderfulness of the Twin City, even a biased one. :) I haven't read anything negative about this model.
Oh, and I want the geared version. Gotta have gears for the rolling hills around here. :)
